A NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR A NEW YEAR 31st Dec 09

It is new years eve, the evening of constant anti-climax. To begin the new year in a fruitful manner we will be streaming our new project from tomorrow. It is a music video for Kowalski’s new single “Get Back”. The song is available to download for free from here. It is certainly the best thing we have made although as I have watched it so many times there are some things I would like changed. I am by no means a perfectionist. I generally like to leave things as they first appear in terms of film or music. I like to leave it as it should be. However the danger of this is that there is always room for complaint.

If you are wondering where the christmas special of babysweet tv all I can say is that I am sorry and that the camera broke. When will the next one appear? I don’t know. I like the idea of keeping busy until the summer and then starting it again but it may just appear at random points. This year was great as we got babysweet television out of our minds and onto here. We got to make a new documentary about Forfey. We made a short film with a super actor. We made the best music video we have ever made. The new video has rekindled my love for making music videos. The last video we made before Get Back was the Seesaw video. I like the seesaw video but it certainly has it’s short comings. That was basically two years ago and since then I started to think it was too hard to make music videos with no money and that I wouldn’t bother. I then saw the new newish videos for panda kopanda , sixstarhotel and lowly knights and thought I would give it ago as those ones I mentioned turned out well.

2010 will hopefully be even more fruitful. Here is what I would like. A documentary on Two Door Cinema Club wrapped up by the end of March which will coincide beautifully with the three year anniversary of the Walkie Talkie documentary. The premier of Walkie Talkie was held at Tudor Cinema in Comber. Some of the Two Door guys attended and they thought it was called the Two Door Cinema before eventually being corrected. Thus their name was born.

From April to June I would like to make two more music videos. Over the summer we can then start babysweet tv up for a while although this could be troublesome as we may be moving country. I would like to envision some sort of internship happening here or there. Funding for a short film. Have a work on tv.

If all of the above happen I’ll be happy. Have a think about what will make 2010 great for you and then lets accomplish them together hand in hand, naked, cheek to cheek.

See you in the new year.

hip hip.
